New Haircut
Tyler's hair seemed to get long again very quickly, so we decided to "really" cut his hair. He didn't have the best time, but he sure looks cute.

New Years 2010
We had a fabulous New Years spent with Dan's old friends from Skidmore. We went to a New Year's Eve party at Kate and Erik's new house in West Roxbury, which was a blast especially because New Year's Day was Kate's 30th Birthday!

Christmas 2009
This Christmas was certainly an adventure. We had a great time with our both families this holiday. First off, we headed to Kennebunkport, ME where Mom and Dad V. had rented a house from friends and we were able to get everyone there for Christmas (15 People including three grandkids). We were delayed a bit because Kenzie had a bit of an emergency (came down with Pancreatitis) for which he had three trips to the Vet and was put on some serious meds. Just want everyone to know Kenzie is stealing from Tyler's college fund... Anyway, we got to Maine a few nights before Christmas (thanks to Jen's parents dog-sitting for us) and had a great time with everyone including Grandma H who made the trip all the way from Iowa to be with us. It was great. Tyler loves hanging with his cousins as usual and seeing everyone. We even put on a mini-pageant- Dan was a shepherd and Tyler was a sheep.
We headed out first thing on the 26th back to Boston where Mom and Dad R. were waiting for us and cooking up a storm at our place. That Saturday we had Christmas all over again hosting Jen's side of the family (11 people and 2 dogs). We all had a great time trying on the Christmas socks that Jen's mom picked out for us and opening gifts by the faux fireplace we had crackling on the tv. Tyler's favorite gift was spending Christmas with both families this year!
