Davenports Visit
We had a busy couple of weeks with the visit of our good friends the Davenports. Brian and Dawn and Olivia stayed with us while visiting Boston after moving to California. During their stay, we had a get-together for some of their old Boston friends. Here's the end-of-the-party stragglers:

Of course, Tyler and Olivia had a great time getting to know each other...

Mama Pat's Retirement Party
After VT, we had a couple quick days at home, then we were off again to New York to celebrate the New Year with friends (I didn't take any pictures... I don't know why...). We had a blast as usual. Then on New Years day we drove farther south down to Jen's parents in DC. Jen's Mom had her retirement party the first week of the New Year. About 90 colleagues, friends and family showed up for the lunch at the very nice Officer's club in Fort Myers. Security was very tight as the President was due to speak there the next day! Congratulations Mama Pat!

Christmas in VT
We headed up to VT the day after Christmas for the Vogelzang celebration. We had a lot of fun with family and friends, but it went way to fast, of course. Dad took a lot of great images which I will have to get from him and post on our blog. Here, at least, are a couple of pictures of Tyler.

Christmas 2008
Well, the holidays proved to be a wonderful— and busy— time. We started Tyler's First Christmas™ at home in Cambridge this year and although it was hard to be away from family on Christmas day, I think we started a nice tradition that will make it easier down the line to do our own holidays. Christmas day was full of surprises and fun. We started with a big breakfast in the morning followed by presents and then later in the day, Alli and Kyle Proffitt came over a big dinner and a relaxing evening.
